all i have to say is that these young boys kicked some serious ass!!!!!!! i got to meet gabriel and lexx and they were very friendly. its nice to have someone bringin back the 80

he's in.
If he was out, someone from the band would have said something about it. There was a point durring the Dounload festival that he was apparently back in the states dealing with personal stuff, but as the rest of them said in a couple interviews from that time, that Lexx is still in. He was just dealing with personal stuff.

Alex is in The Panix.
We talked to the guys of Black Tide and when we asked about Alex all they said was "He's home, deal with it."
He hasn't been on Mayhem, he's in The Panix.

Mayhem Fest July 27, 2008 - Houston, Tx

To be completely honest, I had never heard Black Tied before I came to Mayhem Fest, but thats what it's all about... finding new music.

You guys were great! My favorite new band.
I was totally impressed from the minuet the lead singer opened his mouth. My boyfriend and I looked at each other and laughed, "finally a lyrics"...because a few of the bands that we heard before your set, we couldn't make out a single word, or a single ryhthem. But not you guys... You have it all. Somehow I feel that you have redeemed the new generation. Heavy Metal is Back!

See, I'm 27 and I still can appreciate the 80's and 90's Metal (the gods of metal), and I ride the fence on a lot of the up coming bands just because I feel that somewhere, the younger metal generation has lost poetisum, and musical structure. 
So when I see a new band that I think has got it, (and you do) I want to do all I can to commend them on their talents. You guys have done it right!

The collabration is done right. The sound you have is like the Old School Thrash, meets Modern Metal. It's like Metallica and Mudvyane had a baby. It's a great sound, and you have a broder audience because of it. As I looked a round, I saw people of my era (25-40 age group) really seemed to love your style as well as the younger fans.

I can't stress it enough it's a Great Great Sound. Great Preformance, and Stage Presents. This is what I have been waiting for. I think you guys will go far. Don't change your style.
(And girls out there, if you haven't seen them, there all cuties.)
