Finally a band that is worthy of bringing back the sound from the four horseman,,black tide stay true to your sound!!!You are jammin the sounds that stood out back in the day with style! Don't let the industry corrupt you to the numetal sound,(there is enough bands for that) Metallica shirt with justice shining tall is an anthem to what you guys are bringing to the table and doing it with great guitar riffs and solos,,don't forget the harmonies,, and hold your heads high cause from my review of light from above,,,black tide has a chance to impact the metal scene! Comeon to St Louis MO!!!

Old school breathes new life

Hey Guys..I agree with Ironhaden for sure..you have impacted the scene already..you have brought back the true 80's metal with a mix of this era..and it's F**kin awesome..I'm in my late, late 40's, but listening to your demo and cutz from 'Light from Above' I'm right back in my 20's in the Metal Madness.. I drove 3 hours last week to see you at the 9:30 clubin DC (my son Randy was to be with me, but he had to return early to the airforce)..I was in the 'mosh pit'head banging away..There was no..'yo' look at the old dude..everyone was into 'Black Tide'...I can't wait to see you again with my son Randy Jr for sure..he inspired me to get back to my Metal roots and 'Black Tide' has given me a better reason to 'bleed my ears..

black tide will be the next metallica. Accept they will be better, these dudes have loads of talent and i found out that there under 20 years old. thats insane!!i hope that these dudes stay humble and dont become like bands like trivium. cant wait to see them live

I am 25 y/o and had the chance to grow up with megadeth's influence. You got a lot of that feel it seems like and thats exactly what i like. I will buy your cd. I have to hear more. Maybe someday you wil OPEN for megadeth :)

Yeah they're so the next Metallica. I can't wait 'til they come to Switzerland they're all younger than me but I wish i could play like them... Yeah just stay true as you are and don't let anyone tell you what you have to do! You guys kick ass!

Black Tide has reminded me of the reasons I got hooked on metal in the first place.

I learned of these guys from a small paragraph in Rolling Stone...15
minutes of research later, I was totally blown away.  I've been
into metal since high school, and haven't found any bands since 1992 I
could get into; too many screamers and guitar bangers drove me back to
endlessly replaying the same Queensryche, Metallica, Dream Theater and
Iron Maiden albums I've been playing.  I saw Iron Maiden and
Queensryche live in '01, and enjoyed it immensely; if Black Tide ever
plays Seattle, I'll be right there waiting for them!

I can only agree with what IronHaden says, your music is so old school Thrash, Im so glad that I heard your music for the first time today cause this is the best metal I have heard in a long time!
